We are pleased to announce we now repair the Australian-built MetroCount 5600 Traffic monitor/Vehicle Classifier System

The service includes:

• Clean COM port connector and pressure transducer internals
• Remove corrosion from COM pins and repair traces as needed
• Repair PC board and remove corrosion
• Repair loose threaded case inserts (as needed)
• Recoat PC board with Loctite PC-18M (meets MIL-I-46058C, Type UR)
• Test Pressure Transducer
• Test COM system (includes reloading software and factory default data)
• Test real-time data logging by simulating axle hits from road traffic
• Verify data retention and unload functions
• Install new upgraded (nickel-metal hydride) memory backup battery
• Install OPTIONAL new main battery and/or holder as requested by customer
• Lubricate cover screws with anti-sieze compound

Note:

Main Battery Pack – D-Cells (regular flashlight batteries) are not included with repaired unit when returned to save return shipping weight. If you want them anyhow, let us know they're on the house!
