Service note on MX150 from Flight Systems Tech Support:
The common failures of the MX150 are loss of sensing on the normal (utility) input, and the microprocessor locks up. The lock up of the microprocessor is caused by bad ground connections between the transfer switch itself and the control board. Once the grounding problem is corrected the MX150 needs to be unplugged for about a minute then plugged back in. This will cause the board to reset and function correctly.

This is a full board rebuilding service – we'll check all the inputs and outputs for proper operation; repair or replace those parts which don't measure up and add surge suppression to the microprocessor (something the original design does not have).
