Attention Wheelchair Owners

"If you are doing the work yourself, understand there is a reason your wheelchair controller failed in the first place. In many cases the problem is on the control board itself and our service will correct it. However, there is always the possibility that something outside the control board -- wiring connections, shorts in the motor, bad battery, bad joystick controller, etc. causes the problem in the first place and replacing a defective controller with a rebuilt controller isn't going to solve the problem. This is why we urge you to have your wheelchair controls installed by a competent local medical equipment service facillity (perhaps the same place you bought the wheelchair) and have them test the wheelchair to make sure the problem that caused the original controller to fail in the first place is solved."
